How
do I choose the right size snowboard? Use the snowboard
sizing chart below.
Snowboard Sizing
This board sizing chart
is intended to be a guide. What size board you choose
is also more or less determined by terrain, conditions
and most of all, personal preference.
In general, an overall
greater length will yield a board that can be controlled
at and attain greater speeds. In addition, longer boards
are better performers and float more in powder due to
their increased surface area. Shorter overall lengths
yield a board that is more maneuverable and offer a
lower swing weight.
Again, there are several
variables to consider when choosing a board height,
terrain in which the board will be used, conditions
in which the board will be used, personal preference...
this guide is provided to give you a jumping off point
and only used a guide.
