The LOOK KeO Classic Clipless Automatic Road Bike Pedals are ideal for starting cycling using automatic pedals, or for recreational cycle tourism. Slightly heavier than the KeO Sprint pedal, the weight of the KeO Classic remains very light (140 Grams). The use of glass fiber charged polyamide allows for a high resistance and very light pedal body.

Bearing Surface: Wide bearing surface for greater support

Polyamide Body: Glass fiber polyamide body, injected high resistance. This allows for the high resistance but also very light pedal body. Reduced weight is obtained thanks to the material mass difference.

Chromoly Axle: Look pedal axles are the subject to strict tests to comply with the most demanding practices.

Axle with Two Bearings: 1 ball bearing (internal diameter 10mm, ext 19mm) located on the inside of the pedal (close to crank) supports axial loads. The needle bearing (8 mm inside x 12 mm outside), located at the middle of the pedal, supports both the load of the cyclist and the power of pedaling. Axle dismantling for maintenance is possible using a standard 18mm wrench.

Axle-Sole Height: 17.5 mm (as opposed to 21.6 mm for the delta standard), i.e. 4 mm lower. The fact of being closed to the axle increases pedaling power. It is recommended that cyclists transferring from the Delta standard to the KeO standard with the KeO Sprint pedal lower their saddle by 4 mm.

Tension Adjustment: A wide range of spring adjustment (8-12) enables each individual to find the correct adjustment which best corresponds to its use. The KeO' Classic spring is relatively flexible to facilitate engagement and disengagement given that it is intended for recreational and beginners use.

KeO Cleat: LOOK has developed the KeO cleat format for the purposes of reducing weight on the entire cleat-pedal assembly while remaining compatible with all shoes on the market. The size of the cleat therefore has been reduced while retaining the three attachment points of the old Delta standard which is today's reference. Also, the operating kinematics of the old Delta standard (picot point located in the front of the cleat) has been retained. With the KeO cleat, engagement and disengagement are even easier for maximum safety.
